How do playlists work?
You can collect tracks on mx3 and distribute them in different playlists as you wish. Next to each single, click on “add to a playlist”, the single is then stored in your personal music library, you can then organize your collection and sort the tracks by simply placing them by drag & drop in the playlists.

How do you appear in “It’s Hot Today”?
Every day a clever bio-ionic selection system chooses an mx3 band that will be featured. It could be you too, so come and see!

What does “Report abuse” mean?
This link is used to report content on a site that violates the general terms and conditions. To report content, you must provide the reasons as well as a valid email address. A link is then sent to the provided email address. After activating it, mx3 receives a message and the link is displayed in red.

For musicians

Number 1 reason to be there?
Communicate your moments: Let people know that your tracks have been played on the air (automatic but you still need your tracks to be on mx3)

Select and upload at least a few tracks to be spotted like tens of thousands of other tracks thanks to mx3.ch > $$$

How can I sell my music on mx3?
Mx3 does everything to ensure that artists get the maximum benefit from their compositions. If your music is already available for purchase online, you just need to report the sales url (e.g.: http://salesaddress.ch/myband/mysingle.sell) in the attributes of the single in the “TRACKS” section of your account. “Buy” will then appear next to your single as well as in the player during playback. If you don’t already have a sales address, the internet is full of proven possibilities.

What does the ON AIR Label mean?

It is granted by our affiliated radios and means that the track is also played on the air. The logo of the radio that broadcasts it appears on the tracks and on the band’s page.

What should I do for a radio to feature me on mx3?
Ask a band that has succeeded! Or read this book: The KLF. The Manual. The shortest path to topping the charts. Or listen to the radio and the show you’d like to be on and ask yourself if it’s really the right one.

What should I do to get the On Air label?
Tracks with the On Air label are those that are played on the air. They are selected by music editors from our many affiliated editorial teams, with selection criteria varying from one radio to another.

How can I change categories, from pop to electro for example?
You can modify and edit the style of your band and each track in your ADMIN area.

How can I as an artist present myself to a club/festival?
Thanks to the “book my band” section, everything has become simpler. First, the band needs an account on mx3.ch that is populated with content. They can then send a booking request to the clubs and festivals they’re interested in. Once everything has been filled out and sent, the club/festival will be able to review the music.

Technical solutions

In what format can I upload my images/music to mx3?
