Rootwords won the Swiss Live Talents URBAN AWARD in 2013!!!
This brought him to New York in october 2014, where he performed several shows at the CMJ festival…

He took the opportunity to shoot a video in the streets of Brooklyn & here it is.

Dies brachte ihn nach New York im Oktober 2014, wo er mehrere Konzerte im Rahmen des CMJ Festivals spielen konnte…

It’s not the first time this year that one of Stahlberger’s clips is VIDEO OF THE WEEK”… at first glance, it seems hard to catch, but if you watch through the cryptic beginning, you will be rewarded with a surprize, that’s for sure.

But we don’t want to reveal to much, just watch it yourself!

Dirty Sound Magnet sind keine Unbekannten für jene, die den melancholischen oder auch rockenden Weisen und Gitarren zugetan sind. Vom Debutalbum der Freiburger “The Bloop” haben wir euch ja vor einiger Zeit schon das Video zu “Chocolate Woman” vorgestellt.

"Trop Dommage" is Video of the Week!

You couldn’t describe their music better, than they do themselves: “The stories told, are simple and without frills, tender yet haunting, poetical minatures on soft feet – once the melodies are there, it is impossible to shoo them away.

A choir of female voices, an accordion, two fingers and a trumpet, that’s all this song needs to touch us. The video takes on this low-key, yet memorable style. Simply beautiful!

Sans Claire – Trop Dommage
The new VIDEO OF THE WEEK!

Treffender, als sie selbst es tun, könnte man ihre Musik wohl kaum beschreiben: “Es sind schlicht und schnörkellos erzählte Geschichten, zart und doch eindringlich gesungen, poetische Miniaturen auf leisen Sohlen – und Melodien, die sich, einmal da, nicht mehr verscheuchen lassen.”

Ein Frauenchor, ein Akkordeon, zwei Finger und eine Trompete, mehr braucht dieses Lied nicht, um uns doch zu ergreifen. Das Video greift diesen zurückhaltenden, aber einprägsamen Stil auf. Wunderschön!

Sans Claire – Trop Dommage
Das neue VIDEO OF THE WEEK!

On ne peut pas caractériser mieux la musique de Sans Claire comme ils font ils-même: “Ce sont des histoires simples et sobres, chantées de manière tendre et insistante à la fois.”

Un chœur féminin, un accordéon, des deux doigts de la main et une trompette, c’est tous que ce chanson besoin pour nous émouvoir. Le clip reprendre ce style simple mais reconnaissable. Merveilleux!
